Villa Laura is a large property, the restauration of a countryhouse built around a 450 sq. m. medieval tower. Holding 12 people with 6 double bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, it’s an ideal house for groups of friends or large families. The Lombardic tower dates back to the 1400s and there are still traces of it on the walls and the ceilings. The house includes a swimming pool, a tennis court and a large furnished garden.

External Area and Swimming Pool
The villa has a beautiful and well-kept garden with a 14x7m private swimming pool, complete with sunbeds and beach umbrellas. There is also a large courtyard perfect for eating outdoors, with a table, chairs and parasol, a stone barbecue and a wood oven. Guests can also use the synthetic tennis court situated next to the villa.

The entire villa is elegantly furnished. The ground floor has a large living room with an arched ceiling and a satellite TV, a billiard room, and a kitchen complete with utensils; all three rooms have access to the garden and to a bathroom with shower. The first floor, accessible from in or outdoors via an external staircase, has 2 double bedrooms each with bathroom with shower, another double bedroom, 3 bedrooms each with 2 single beds (which can be converted into double bedrooms), 2 bathrooms with bathtub, WC. A staircase connects this upper floor to the tower.

The villa is part of a large farm surrounded by hills with many vineyards, the area is famous for the famous white wine called “Vernaccia di San Gimignano”.

Villa Laura has Wi-Fi, central heating, a baby bed and high chair, parking within the property.

The price includes: bathroom, bedroom and kitchen linen (changed weekly), internet, water, gas and electricity consumption, high chair and baby bed. Upon request and to be paid for on location are: cookery courses, dinners, hired help and wine tours.

Important Information
Pool open from 15/05 to 15/10. Only small animals are allowed.

Activities and Attractions
The villa is in the hills surrounding San Gimignano, a medieval town whose towers are among the most famous in Tuscany. Nearby you can find Certaldo, Boccaccio’s native town, the Etruscan town Volterra, Pisa and many more attractions. The Via Francigena, by foot or by bike, is just one of the many itineraries nearby. Both Siena and Florence are also nearby. San Gimignano 7 km (shops, supermarkets), Certaldo 14 km, Volterra 28 km, Pisa 75 km, Siena 55 km, Firenze 61 km.
