Villa del Silenzio is located on top of a hill in the countryside near Volterra, the Etruscan town. You can admire all kinds of ruins, both in the museums and strolling along the streets and squares. Within easy reach are other destinations, not lesser-known, like San Gimignano, which are only a few minutes away by car. The “Teatro del Silenzio”, where Maestro Bocelli organizes a famous concert in summer, is only 23 kilometres far. The villa is just right for groups of friends or families who want to spend their holidays in the quiet of the countryside. The villa has about 30 hectares of land with numerous hiking tracks. The villa is surrounded by vast meadows and olive groves with garden furniture (barbeque) and swimming pool (16x5, 1.20/1.50m deep)(01/04-01/10). The accommodation has central heating, air conditioning, baby bed, wi-fi Internet connection. A maid, baby sitter, chef and cookery courses are available upon request and paid for on location. PLEASE NOTE: only small pets are allowed. The last stretch of the access road to the property (1,5 km) is a dirt track.
