Overlooking a green valley in the Chianti, in the small, picturesque village of Lucolena in Chianti, Il Casalone is a comfortable country house with a private swimming pool and rooftop terrace. The intention of the owner was to make this property his own country house, the villa has been tastefully decorated, and quality accessories and bathrooms finished in marble adorn this little gem. The central location of this villa allows guests to easily reach all the main villages in the Chianti (Castellina, Gaiole, Radda, Panzano) and the main towns and cities in Tuscany such as Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra. The oval-shaped swimming pool (14x7, 1.3-2.5 m deep) (01/04-30/09) is lined with natural stone, which declines into a pleasant English-style lawn, where you can relax and cool off even in hot summer days. Adjacent to the pool there is an equipped barbecue area that allows you to enjoy all the comforts while outdoors. A chef, maid services and cooking courses are available and to be requested when booking and to be paid for on the spot. The villa is equipped with a baby-bed and Wi-Fi Internet access is included in the price. Parking inside the property. Central heating.     Il Casalone ist eine hochwertig restaurierte und stilvoll eingerichtete Villa direkt im beschaulichen Ort Lucolena. Pizzeria und typisches Alimentarilädchen um die Ecke. Die sehr freundliche Hausverwaltung (Villa Borghetta in ca. 15 km Entfernung) reagiert sofort auf Wünsche und Reklamationen. Die defekte Waschmaschine wurde z.B. innerhalb 24 Stunden ausgetauscht. Für uns als Dreigenerationenfamilie vor allem durch die großzügige Küche, die beiden Terrassen und den einladenden Pool ideal. Mückenspray nicht vergessen! Für Liebhaber authentischen Ambientes sehr empfehlenswert!

    Il Casalone is a comfortable country house. We were offered a warm welcome.A private chef prepared our breakfast with top-quality ingredients: everything was made with local organic products (plus excellent coffee), served both in the indoor kitchen and at the outdoor table. The marble bathrooms (one with a tub and one with a shower) and the cleanliness were excellent.A little paradise on earth near the small village of Lucolena in Chianti and the perfect starting point for visits to the Chianti vineyards producing Chianti Classico wine.

    Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Die Lage ist wie ein Traum mit der besten Aussicht über Chianti. Die Zimmer waren sauber und komfortabel, und wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Wir waren Mitte September dort, und das Wetter war immer noch perfekt für den Pool. Wir hatten einen Koch für Abendessen und Frühstück engagiert, und besonders das Frühstück war ein Genuss. Leckeren Orangensaft, Wurst und Käse aus der Region, frische Eier. Ein schöner Tisch im Freien, aus dem man die Aussicht beim Esssen genießen konnte. Wir hatten kein eigenes Fahrzeug, organisierten aber über den Concierge einen privaten Transferservice sowohl nach Florenz als auch in die Chianti-Region. An einem Abend aßen wir sogar im berühmten Restaurant von Dario Cecchini in Panzano in Chianti. Über das Concierge-Team buchten wir außerdem eine Weintour mit Weinprobe und passenden Speisen. Wir waren begeistert und koennen die Tour nur wärmstens empfehlen.
