Independent house on three sides, 50 metres from the beach, for up to 6 persons with one double bedroom, one living/bedroom with two single beds, one sofa bed in the living room, three bathrooms (one of which is small), a complete kitchen (no dishwasher), and a panoramic terrace overlooking the shore. The house has satellite TV, wifi, air conditioning, ceiling fans in the whole house, a baby bed, a highchair. Parking nearby.

Outdoors
Just 50 metres from Mazzeo beach, Casa Incanto is in a small hamlet made up of colonial homes and a small ancient church with a unique suspended garden, which in 2019 won a competition organised by Taormina: its plants are carefully kept in such as a way as to blend in perfectly with their surroundings, creating a unique spectacle.
You will be able to see this from the house, but there’s more: an indoor staircase made of Sicilian marble leads you from the top floor to a spacious terrace (70 sq. m.), partly shaded by a parasol, complete with a table and chairs for outdoor meals, two sunbeds, a small outdoor living area and a sink.
The terrace has many plants and flowers and offers a breathtaking view of the Mazzeo beach, a spacious pebble beach on the crystal-clear sea. The free parking area is next to the shore just 20 metres from the house, but guests can unload their baggage in the small square in front of the house.

Interior
The 120 sq. m. house has been recently renovated, and new electric and water systems have been installed. The mother of the owner lives on the ground floor. An indoor staircase leads to the first floor hall, where on the right there is the large living room with two single beds, satellite TV, air conditioning and a small balcony overlooking the small square; on the left, a double bedroom with air conditioning, a large balcony with a view of the seaside and of the small church, and a bathroom with a bathtub plus shower cubicle in blue ceramic. The second floor has a well-equipped cooking corner with a practical surface with four stools, which is part of the large living room with a double sofa bed, satellite TV, air conditioning and outdoor access; on this floor there is also a bathroom with shower and washing machine. The same staircase between the first and second floor, which boasts vases which have been hand-painted by the owner alongside seashells and similar ornaments, leads up to the top floor with a small space in front of the bathroom with an electric coffee machine and everything you need for outdoor breakfasts, a small guest bathroom and the spacious panoramic terrace described above with a great view of the crystal-clear sea.

Location
Casa Incanto is in Mazzeo, a romantic corner of Sicily, a small town full of little surprises a stone’s throw away from famous towns like Taormina and Letojanni. The sand beach is not too close to other more populated areas, making it very calm and relaxing.

The price includes bathroom, bedroom and kitchen linen (changed weekly), internet, gas, highchair and baby bed, two bicycles. Upon request and to be paid for at the property: hired help and babysitter.

Important information
The owner’s mother lives on the ground floor.

Activities and Distances
The town of Mazzeo is the perfect starting point to discover the beauty of Eastern Sicily, starting with Taormina, a natural terrace on top of Monte Tauro right by the sea with a spectacular view of the Etna volcano. We suggest visiting its shops and narrow streets which lead to Palazzo Corvaja, a historical building home to the art and traditions museum. You can’t miss Mount Etna and the Gole dell’Alcantara, the spectacular lava gorges made by the Alcantara river. The path immersed in nature is home to impressive natural walls which surround the lake’s blue water. Going back to Taormina, its main symbols are the antique Greek-Roman theatre, which is still being used today, and Isola Bella, a picturesque, minute island which has become a naturalistic museum.
The area’s most famous towns are all easy to reach by car or by train (the station is just 100 metres from the house): Letojanni (the closest), Taormina, Messina, Siracusa, Catania.
Mazzeo 100 m (groceries, restaurants with home delivery), Letojanni: 1 km (weekly market, groceris and all kinds of shops, post office, bank), Taormina: 7 km, Gole Alcantara: 22 km, Messina: 48 km, Catania: 52 km (airport), Siracusa: 118 km.
