Important information
You will not require a vehicle. Venice can be reached by train and from Marco Polo airport. Check-in expected from 5-8 pm: arrival at a different time should be agreed on with the owner in advance. The deposit will be refunded via bank transfer up to 3 days after checking out.

Location and distances
The apartment is in Sestiere di Cannaregio and is in an ideal starting point for visiting the most interesting parts of Venice, whilst being in a calm area away from the main tourist attractions. The Madonna dell’Orto Church is not far, as well as the house of Tintoretto and Campo dei Mori, and the Madonna dell’Orto vaporetto (boat) stop is perfect for reaching the railway station and the islands of Murano, Burano and the Lido di Venezia. Nearby you will also find Strada Nova (the “New Road”) with many shops, and the ancient hebrew ghetto. We recommend a day trip to the laguna islands, such as Torcello (which Hemingway loved), Burano and Murano with its famous glass art.

    This was a lovey apartment with tons of natural light. Our family of 5 had plenty of room and the neighborhood was quiet yet not too far to walk to get where you wanted to go.

    L'appartement est spacieux, avec beaucoup d'espaces disponibles, très bien agencé. La cuisine et la salle à manger sont très grandes. L'appartement est extraordinairement calme (hormis parfois les cloches mais jamais tôt le matin) : pas de bruit de voisinage ni de rue. Le mobilier et la décoration sont de qualité et choisis avec goût. La propriétaire est très serviable.

    A very good house. Great areas. High quality bedroom linen. Located close to transport. quiet place.Friendly host. The host only spoke Italian, which made understanding difficult.The payment for electricity was the bill he decided to present since we did not have prior access to the meter record.The value of the tourist tax was not previously informed, so we believe that the amount charged was correct.
