Apartment in an old stone colonial house, restored and holding up to 4 persons in 2 double bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and a small bathroom. The house has a terrace for outdoor meals with a barbecue, above ground swimming pool for your exclusive use, fireplace, baby bed and parking.

Outdoors and Swimming Pool
The outdoor panoramic terrace with table and barbecue, with direct access from the kitchen is a great choice for those looking to relax while reading a book or eating outside. Not far from the house, you will find the above ground swimming pool, 9 metres by 6 with a depth of 0.9 metres, complete with sunbeds used exclusively by the guests. You can also use a small garden with a lawn area and olive trees, used also by the owners, a couple living in the rest of the house. Parking within the property.

Interior
Almonte is a renovated country house, which maintains its old, rural character. The property has charming, antique furniture in great condition. Entrance from the ground floor terrace, leading directly to the kitchen/dining room, which brings you to the living room. A staircase will take you to the first floor, with a double bedroom, a room with two beds, a bathroom with shower and a smaller bathroom.

Location
The property is on a hillside between the city of Lucca and the Versilia coastline. The area is full of large woods, small roads and scattered houses, originally old colonial houses and now villas owned by locals and Europeans who seek calm.

Almonte has a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, baby bed and parking within the property.

Services
The price includes: bathroom, bedroom and kitchen linen (changed weekly), water and gas, baby bed. Upon request and to be paid for at the property are hired help, a cook and a babysitter.

Important information
Swimming pool open from 1st June to 9th September. Access to the property via 300 metres of gravel road. The owners live in the same property, with an independent entrance, and use the outdoor area but not the pool.

Lucca is the largest nearby city, a 20-minute drive away. We recommend visiting the Versilia coastline from a country road, leading down from the hills and passing through Camaiore, an important town of Versilia’s inland. If you feel like more exploring, the cities of Pisa and Florence are both a little more than an hour away.

    Wir haben zu dritt eine herrliche Woche in diesem außergewöhnlichen Haus in toller Lage verbracht. Die Innenausstattung ist sehr bemerkenswert mit vielen Antiquitäten und liebvollen Details. Der Pool hat eine angenehme Größe und war blitzblank. Mit Freude denke ich an die Konversation mit den freundlichen Eigentümern, einem älteren Ehepaar, zurück. Wer Ruhe und Natur sucht, ist hier richtig!

    We had a great stay at our apartment, the hosts live in the one half of the building but we had privacy and felt absolutely free to enjoy our time there. They were available when we asked, to help us out with a little laundry (no clothes washer in the apartment, washer refers to dishwasher) and firewood (it was unseasonably cold and damp during our visit and apartment has no Heating/Aircon). If you want to get away from it all (no wi-fi), surrounded by the serene beauty of northern Tuscany, enjoying charming rustic interiors and a patio with a truly gorgeous view, and you plan to explore Lucca and surrounds by car, then this is a great pick.

    The house is perfect with amazing views over the valley. It is very isolated, aprox 4K up the mountain so be prepared for that but if this is what you like, which we do it's great. The 2 owners who live in the adjoining property are lovely and the lady even did a little bit of baby sitting for us haha. If you enjoy cooking, which we did then she gave us access to all her fresh basil, a must in Italy! Would suggest you do your research on the area before you go to find the best walks and restaurants etc as outside Lucca it is not set out for tourists as much. Thanks for a lovely stay, Ciao!

    It was such a cosy, basic and typical Italian house with a stunning view. Absolutely amazing! The communication with Susi was fine. The communication with the keyholder was hard because they couldn't speak a word in English. Well we used our hands to communicate ;) The perfect place to refresh far away from the daily hustle somewhere in the off of Tuscany.

    We loved our stay in this Tuscan retreat. The view from the house is beautiful and its great being away from the town but still close enough to pop in if needed. We miss our dips in the pool and bbq's as the sun goes down.

    Very nice and quite place with a lovely terrace and beautiful view, placed in the middle of the forest on a hillside, where we “slowed down” and enjoyed our vacation. Nice pool - it was perfect for our 5 years old son. Friendly owners that that left the garden and pool area for our full disposal. Recommend it for relaxing and enjoying time with the family.

    The four of us spent two very relaxing weeks in this beautiful house in a great location. The view over pine forests and in the distance over Lucca is wonderful and relaxing. The next house is about 200m away and you only hear nature.It is important to know that the last 100m to the house is a gravel path and that it is also very uneven. You need a slightly taller car. We were very happy with our Touran here.The interior is very special with lots of antiques and lovely details. The house was remarkably clean, and the bathroom was beautiful too. The owner and her son are both very polite, hard-working and kind. They never pushed themselves on and were still there when the power went out briefly and helped.The house has no WiFi, but a very good LTE connection.The pool is a good size, sparkling clean and in the afternoon a bit in the shade. If you are looking for peace and nature, this is the right place! Nevertheless, you only need about 20 minutes to Lucca and only 10 minutes to a supermarket (Carrefour).
